The Salt Lake City Water Reclamation Plant Wetlands is located north of the treatment plant. Phragmites is a non-native species that has been thriving in these wetlands, and without controls, would dominate the area. The project team has established and implemented a program that controls the infestation of the Phragmites on site before and throughout construction.
