Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI) Envision Sustainable Infrastructure Framework

The Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI) is the organization that developed and manages Envision. The purpose of Envision is to foster the dramatic and necessary improvement in the sustainable performance and resiliency of physical infrastructure by helping owners, planners, engineers, communities, contractors, and other infrastructure stakeholders to implement more cost- effective, resource-efficient and adaptable long-term infrastructure investments.

ISI’s independent, third-party project verification and awards program is a transparent process to confirm that a project meets the sustainability criteria in the Envision framework.

The New WRF Project will pursue ISI’s independent, third-party project verification. The project’s goal is to complete the verification process and achieve sufficient points to earn an Envision Platinum award.
